As a Visionary, your mind naturally moves fast, constantly generating new ideas and identifying opportunities. However, bringing these ideas up during the administrative segments of the Level 10 Meeting™ completely derails the meeting's efficiency and frustrates your leadership team. You must respect the structure of the weekly pulse.

Your Integrator must play the role of the guardian of the agenda. To do this effectively, you must establish a clear agreement. When you launch into a new idea during the Scorecard, Rock Review, or To-Do check, your Integrator has full authority to stop you immediately. The phrase to use is simple: Drop it to the Issues List. There is no debate and no defense. It simply gets captured on the short-term Issues List to be discussed during the IDS® portion of the meeting, or parked on the Long-Term Issues List for your next quarterly session.

By using the six compartments of your business, you protect your creativity while maintaining operational discipline. Your ideas are valuable, but they must be discussed in the proper forum. If the idea is a strategic opportunity that does not affect this quarter, it belongs on the Long-Term Issues List in your V/TO®. If it is an immediate operational issue, solve it during IDS®.

This process requires you to practice humility and show vulnerability. Acknowledge that your random thoughts can disrupt the team's execution. Let your Integrator lead the meeting, trust their guidance, and keep your focus on traction.
