The Integrator is the guardian of the Level 10 Meeting™ cadence. When the meeting starts to drift into storytelling or detailed problem-solving during the reporting sections, the Integrator must intervene quickly and decisively. This is not about being a dictator. It is about respecting the team's collective time. When a department head begins explaining why their metric is red, the Integrator should use a standard, neutral phrase. A simple "Is that an issue we need to solve today?" or "Let us drop that to the Issues List" works best. By instantly dropping the topic to the board, you acknowledge the importance of the issue without letting it hijack the reporting block. This gives the team member peace of mind that their concern will be addressed during the proper sixty-minute IDS® session. To make this transition easier, the Integrator should educate the team on the purpose of each section before the meeting starts. Remind everyone that the Scorecard and Rock reviews are designed to build context and flag trouble spots, not to fix them on the spot. Over time, the team will self-correct, and the Integrator will only need to make minor adjustments to keep the meeting tightly focused.
