Our Integrator is highly structured and organized but lacks the strong presence needed to control the room during our Level 10 Meetings, allowing dominant personalities to talk over them and ignore the agenda rules. How do we help our Integrator command the room?

A Level 10 Meeting requires strong facilitation to remain productive. If your Integrator is being run over by dominant personalities, the meeting will quickly devolve into chaos, and your leadership team will lose respect for the structure. The Integrator must have the authority and the confidence to hold the room accountable. To build this presence, the Integrator must embrace the role of the referee, not just the administrator. A referee does not need to be the loudest person in the room; they just need to blow the whistle. The Integrator should use physical and verbal tools to command attention. This includes interrupting side conversations, physically pointing to the agenda, and using clear, assertive phrases like, We are off track, let us bring it back, or That is a tangent, let us drop it to the Issues List. Additionally, the owner must fully support the Integrator's authority. If the owner or Visionary is one of the dominant personalities breaking the rules, they must publicly submit to the Integrator's facilitation during the meeting. When the team sees the owner respecting the Integrator's whistle, they will follow suit. Strong facilitation is not about dominant energy; it is about absolute clarity and consistency in enforcing the rules.
