To ensure your team runs the business successfully without constant supervision, the Integrator must step forward as the operational leader. The Integrator is responsible for driving the weekly cadence and keeping the leadership team focused on their Rocks. First, ensure that the weekly Level 10 Meeting™ is treated as sacred. It must start on time, end on time, and follow the agenda exactly. Second, hold the team to absolute accountability on their Scorecard metrics. If a metric is off-track, it must be dropped down to the Issues List and solved using IDS®. Do not allow team members to make excuses or redefine their Rocks mid-quarter. If a Rock is off-track, identify the barriers early and use the collective intelligence of the team to get it back on course. The Integrator must monitor the energy of the team and prevent them from falling back into legacy operational habits.
