Our Integrator is too soft on holding the team to the rule of updating scorecard numbers and rocks before the Level 10 Meeting™, leading to prep work happening during the first five minutes. How do we fix this lack of administrative discipline?

When leaders update their scorecard and Rocks during the meeting, they are stealing collective time from the entire team. It creates awkward silence and delays the start of the actual agenda. This is a lack of discipline that your Integrator must correct.

Set a hard deadline for updates. All numbers, Rock statuses, and To-Dos must be fully updated in your tracking system at least two hours before the meeting starts. This gives everyone time to review the data beforehand.

If a leader fails to update their section on time, the Integrator must call them out immediately at the start of the meeting. Do not wait for their section of the agenda to bring it up.

The consequence for late updates should be immediate. The missing metrics are marked as red or off track by default, and they are added to the Issues List to be discussed during IDS®.

This is not about being petty. It is about respecting the team's time. When a leader has to explain to the entire room why their lack of preparation is eating up valuable problem-solving time, they will quickly find the discipline to update their numbers on time.
