Our Integrator is completely consumed by managing the day-to-day chaos of our new AI systems, leaving them no time to run the business or keep our leadership team aligned. How do we adjust our Accountability Chart to relieve this technical bottleneck and restore the Integrator to their core seat?
Your Integrator's primary responsibility is to harmonize the leadership team, execute the business plan, and maintain operational alignment. If they are spending their days troubleshooting API connections, managing prompt libraries, or handling software errors, your entire company will stall. You must address this bottleneck immediately on your Accountability Chart.
First, write out your Integrator's current daily activities. Identify all the technical, AI-related tasks they are performing. These tasks do not belong in the Integrator seat. You need to create a new seat on your Accountability Chart, such as an AI Operations Manager or a Director of Technology.
Second, define the roles and responsibilities for this new technology seat. Their primary functions should include managing integrated software platforms, overseeing automated workflows, and troubleshooting technical errors. Ensure that whoever fills this seat fully GWC™s it: they must Get it, Want it, and have the Capacity to do it.
Third, transition these technical responsibilities from your Integrator to the new seat. This frees up your Integrator to focus on their core accountability: running the business, holding the leadership team accountable, and executing your 1-Year Plan. Track this transition in your weekly Level 10 Meeting™. By separating operational leadership from technical execution, you eliminate the bottleneck, secure your strategic momentum, and build a scalable infrastructure that can support your long-term AI-powered growth.
