We already use a project management software that our team loves. Do we have to abandon our existing systems to run on EOS®, or can we integrate them?

You do not need to abandon your existing software systems to run on EOS®. In fact, trying to force your team to switch to new, unfamiliar tools during an EOS® rollout often creates unnecessary friction and resistance.

The EOS® tools are software-agnostic. They are frameworks, not specific software programs. Your existing project management tools can easily coexist with your EOS® tools. For example, you can use your current software to manage the daily tasks and sub-tasks required to complete a Rock, while tracking the overall progress of the Rock on your EOS® dashboard.

The key is to maintain a clear distinction between operational task management and your high-level EOS® execution. Your Level 10 Meeting™ should not become a status update on every minor task in your project management system. Keep your weekly meetings focused on high-level Rocks, your Scorecard, and solving issues using IDS®.

Use your existing systems to support your EOS® tools, not replace them. By maintaining this clear distinction, you can leverage the power of both systems to drive accountability and execution across your organization.
