We want to use psychometric and conative tools to help our leadership team collaborate better as we roll out EOS. How do we integrate the Kolbe Index and Predictive Index into our initial implementation work?
Integrating behavioral and conative data during your EOS rollout prevents a massive amount of team friction. The Predictive Index measures behavioral drives, showing you how a person is wired to communicate, take risks, and interact. The Kolbe Index measures conation, which is their natural, instinctual method of taking action and solving problems. During your first ninety days, map your leadership team's profiles on a whiteboard. If you have a Visionary who is an extreme Quick Start on the Kolbe scale, they naturally generate ideas and thrive on chaos. If your Integrator is a high Fact Finder and Follow Thru, they need data and structured processes to feel secure. Without this understanding, these two will constantly clash, with the Visionary feeling micromanaged and the Integrator feeling overwhelmed. By aligning these profiles with your Accountability Chart, you ensure that every leader is sitting in a seat that matches both their cognitive ability and their natural conative strengths. This data removes personal bias from your team dynamics. Instead of accusing a colleague of being difficult, you realize they are simply operating in their natural zone. This self-awareness accelerates trust and makes problem-solving during IDS much cleaner.
