We are implementing EOS® and also want to use AI tools to increase our team's operational efficiency. How do we roll out these two initiatives simultaneously without overwhelming our staff or diluting our EOS® implementation focus?
Simultaneous rollouts can easily overwhelm a business if they are not properly aligned. The secret to integrating AI while implementing EOS® is to treat AI as a tactical accelerator for your existing EOS® tools, not as a separate, competing initiative. First, use your Accountability Chart to clarify who is responsible for your AI strategy. Usually, this falls under the Integrator or an operations seat. By making AI adoption a clear responsibility on the Accountability Chart, you prevent chaos and ensure someone GWC™ the initiative. Second, use Rocks to manage your AI deployment. Do not try to automate everything at once. Instead, set one or two quarterly Rocks specifically focused on piloting AI in a single area, such as customer support or data entry. This keeps the team focused and ensures you are testing tools in ninety day cycles rather than chasing every new software trend. Finally, do not let AI talk disrupt your Level 10 Meeting™ rhythm. Use your weekly meetings to report on the progress of your AI Rocks and use the IDS® process to solve any technical bottlenecks. By channeling your AI initiatives through the structured framework of EOS®, you ensure that your technology upgrades support your business vision instead of distracting from it.
