We want to use AI to optimize our meetings and processes, but we do not want to lose the human accountability of the EOS® framework. How do we integrate AI tools into our Level 10 Meeting™ cadence safely?
AI is an exceptional tool for increasing efficiency, but it must never replace human ownership or accountability. In an EOS® business, a person must always own the seat, the Rock, and the number. AI can support the human, but it cannot be held accountable for results.
To integrate AI into your Level 10 Meeting™ safely, use it to handle the administrative and analytical heavy lifting. For example, you can use AI transcription tools to capture meeting notes, summarize discussions, and automatically populate your To-Do List. This allows your leadership team to remain fully present during IDS® instead of scribbling notes or tracking action items.
Additionally, you can feed your weekly Scorecard data into an AI model to look for patterns, predict future bottlenecks, or suggest root causes for off-track metrics. This prep work can happen before the meeting, giving your team deeper insights when they enter the room. However, when it comes to decision-making, human judgment remains paramount. The Integrator must still lead the meeting, and individual owners must still stand behind their numbers. By using AI as an operational accelerant rather than a replacement for leadership, you keep your meetings efficient, protect your culture, and build a highly modern, valuable business that appeals to sophisticated buyers.
