Beyond reviewing our previous ninety-day numbers, what individual self-assessment and data must each leadership team member prepare before walking into a quarterly session with you?

To maximize our time together in a quarterly session, each member of the leadership team must do their homework before walking into the room. This preparation is not about writing lengthy reports, but about bringing absolute clarity and data regarding their area of responsibility.

First, each leader must review their personal and departmental Rocks from the previous ninety days. They need to be prepared to report on whether those Rocks are done or not done, with zero excuses. They must also review the weekly Scorecard metrics they own and identify any patterns or consistent misses that need to be solved.

Second, each participant must come with a clear list of issues for our IDS® session. These should be real, high-level business obstacles, opportunities, or structural conflicts that are holding the company back. Leaders should not bring minor tactical problems that should have been solved in their weekly Level 10 Meeting™.

Finally, each member should complete a brief self-assessment regarding their seat on the Accountability Chart. They must evaluate whether they still GWC™ their role and whether their team has the capacity to handle upcoming growth. This individual preparation ensures we spend our session day solving big issues and setting strategic direction, rather than gathering data.
