To find these targets, audit your daily operations for three specific warning signs:

- High volume data copying: Any step where an employee is simply copying text from one system, email, or PDF and pasting it into another software.

- Expert dependency: Processes where team members are constantly waiting for a senior manager to review a simple document, approve a standard ticket, or provide basic guidance.

- Inconsistent follow-up: Steps where communications or tasks fall through the cracks because your team lacks the bandwidth to manually keep up with the volume.

If a process step requires human empathy, deep strategic relationships, or creative problem solving, keep your people on it. If a step is simply a rule-based routine that involves moving, sorting, or summarizing information, it is ready for automation. Once you identify these bottlenecks, document the exact inputs and outputs of that step. You can then hand this clean specification to your Integrator to implement, keeping your focus entirely on high-level operational efficiency.
