Hybrid Level 10 Meetings are notorious for sucking the life out of a team if you do not manage the technology with absolute discipline. When you have some people in a physical conference room and others on a screen, the remote participants naturally become second-class citizens. This ruins the collective energy and stalls the pace of your weekly pulse.

To fix this, you must establish strict rules of engagement. First, enforce the single screen rule. Every remote participant must have their own camera on, and they must be framed clearly. No virtual backgrounds that lag, and no muting unless there is construction noise in their room. If they are in the meeting, they are fully present.

Second, the physical room must have a dedicated room camera that shows the entire team, plus high-quality boundary microphones so remote people do not miss the side talk or quiet transitions.

Third, the facilitator must call on remote team members first during the segue, scorecard review, and IDS. This forces active participation and keeps the remote folks from tuning out. Do not let hybrid setup be an excuse for a loose meeting. Run it with the exact same rigor as a fully physical room, and treat the screen as an equal participant. If the tech setup is lagging, solve it as a structural issue.
