We filled out our V/TO but it currently sits in a shared drive and nobody really references it. How do we turn the Vision/Mission Organizer from a static PDF into an active strategic filter for daily decision-making?

A Vision/Mission Organizer is not a document to be completed and filed away. If your V/TO® sits in a shared folder, your vision is dead. To make it a living strategic filter, you must bring it into your weekly and quarterly rhythms. Start every quarterly planning session by reviewing the V/TO® line by line. Ask your leadership team if the long-term target, three-year picture, and one-year plan still represent your destination. This keeps the vision fresh and aligned with market realities. In your weekly operations, use the V/TO® to make hard decisions. When new ideas or business opportunities arise, filter them through your Core Focus™ and target market. If an opportunity does not fit your defined scope, say no immediately. Use your Core Values daily as a filter for hiring, reviewing, and firing. When prioritizing issues during your weekly Level 10 Meeting™, use the V/TO® to decide if an issue is worth solving right now or if it is just a distraction from your one-year plan. If you do not use the document to say no, it is just expensive wallpaper.
