Changing scorecard targets or adjusting historical data to make a metric look green is a serious breach of trust and a direct threat to your business. The scorecard is your weekly dashboard, and its sole purpose is to give you an accurate, real-time snapshot of the health of your operations. Green-washing hides the very issues you need to solve, leading to blind spots that will eventually derail your growth.

To stop this immediately, establish a hard rule: once a weekly target is set, it cannot be changed without the consensus of the entire leadership team during a quarterly meeting. Furthermore, scorecard data must be locked at least twenty-four hours before the Level 10 Meeting™ starts.

If a metric is red, it is red. There is no shame in a missed target; it is simply an opportunity to run IDS® and find the root cause of the problem. If a leader continues to manipulate data to avoid accountability, you have a core values issue or a GWC™ issue. You must address this behavior directly in a one-on-one meeting, making it clear that absolute honesty and transparency are non-negotiable requirements for sitting on your leadership team.
