We have a leadership team member who stays completely silent and passive during the IDS portion of our Level 10 Meeting, but then aggressively lobbies against the agreed-upon solutions in the hallways and via email after the meeting ends. How do we stop this destructive behavior?

This is a direct violation of the Same Page pillar of your organizational covenant. Remaining silent during debate and then working to undermine decisions afterward is passive-aggressive behavior that will destroy trust across your entire Accountability Chart. To stop this hallway lobbying, you must address it immediately. First, the Integrator must call out this behavior in a private, one-on-one setting. Use specific examples of when the leader remained silent during IDS® and then attempted to reverse the decision afterward. Mirror the behavior back to them and make it clear that it is unacceptable.

In your next Level 10 Meeting™, the facilitator should proactively pull this leader into the debate during the IDS® portion. If an issue touches their department, ask them directly for their input and do not move to the solve phase until they have voiced their stance. Emphasize that once a decision is made during the meeting, everyone must support it with one voice outside the room. If they continue to lobby in secret after the meeting, you have a Core Values alignment issue. You must be prepared to enter the three-strike process or make a talent change. You cannot scale a company when a leader refuses to practice open and honest communication.
