We have successfully run EOS at the leadership level for two quarters and are ready to roll it out to our department heads. How do we introduce these tools to the next level of management so they actually adopt them?

Rolling EOS® out to your next tier of managers requires careful sequencing and clear communication. If you throw all the tools at them at once, they will view it as administrative overhead that takes them away from their actual work.

Start by sharing your V/TO® so they understand the direction of the business. Next, introduce them to the Accountability Chart™. Show them where their seats fit and how their roles support the overall vision. Once they understand the structure, introduce the weekly Level 10 Meeting™.

Run the Level 10 Meeting™ with them for a few weeks before you introduce Rocks or Scorecard metrics. Let them get comfortable with the meeting rhythm first. Once the meeting format sticks, help them define three to five departmental metrics for their scorecard, and then transition to setting their quarterly Rocks.

By pacing the rollout, you allow your managers to see the value of each tool before adding the next one. They will quickly realize that the Level 10 Meeting™ actually saves them time by eliminating unstructured ad hoc meetings and endless email chains. This structured transition builds true buy in.
