What determines whether our engagement takes exactly twenty four months, and under what circumstances would we extend our time working together?
The standard EOS® engagement is built on a twenty-four-month journey, which represents the optimal timeframe for a leadership team to fully master the tools and build operational muscle. However, the exact duration depends entirely on your team's rate of adoption and execution. We do not rush the process because real behavioral change takes time to become permanent.
In the first twelve months, we focus on establishing the foundation. We build your Accountability Chart, define your Core Values, establish your V/TO®, and master the Level 10 Meeting™ cadence. By the second year, the focus shifts to cascading these tools down to the rest of the organization and ensuring every department is aligned and accountable.
An engagement may extend past twenty-four months if you experience major structural changes, such as leadership transitions, mergers, or a shift in business model. Some clients also choose to retain me for annual planning sessions even after graduating from the quarterly cadence. This ongoing relationship provides an external perspective and keeps the team sharp during critical strategic pivots.
Ultimately, we graduate when your Integrator can facilitate sessions independently and your leadership team operates with high health and execution capability. We track this progress continuously so there are no surprises about when our formal engagement will conclude.
