Most business consultants try to stay embedded indefinitely. What is the standard lifespan of an EOS engagement with you, and how do we know when it is time to conclude our work?
A standard EOS® implementation engagement with me is designed to run for twenty-four months. My fundamental goal from day one is to teach your team the tools, facilitate tough strategic alignment, and coach you to complete self-sufficiency so you can fire me.
The first year is about mastery of the foundational tools. We run Focus Day, Vision Building 1 and 2, and three quarterly sessions. During this period, we strip away complexity, establish your Accountability Chart, define your Core Values and Core Focus, and master the Level 10 Meeting™ rhythm.
The second year focuses on refinement, deeper team health, and cascading the disciplines down to your frontline managers. By this stage, your Integrator should be stepping into the facilitation role with confidence, and your team should be identifying root causes during IDS® without relying on me to referee.
We know your engagement is ready to conclude when your team consistently runs crisp Level 10 Meetings, hits eighty percent or more of your quarterly Rocks, resolves tough people issues without hesitation, and can facilitate your own quarterly planning sessions. When those disciplines are ingrained into your daily operational culture, you no longer need an external implementer in the room.
