What happens if our leadership team consistently fails to complete our Rocks or track our Scorecard numbers between our quarterly sessions? How do you hold us accountable without acting like a nagging boss?
I am not your boss, and I will not chase you down to complete your homework. If your leadership team is consistently missing their Rocks or neglecting your Scorecard, it is a symptom of a deeper organizational issue that we must address openly. During our quarterly sessions, we look at your execution metrics with absolute clarity. We do not accept excuses or long-winded explanations for why things did not get done. If your team's Rock completion rate is regularly below the target of eighty percent, or if your Scorecard numbers are consistently red, we put that reality directly on our Issues List. We use the IDS® tool to identify the root cause of the execution failure. Often, the root cause is that you have people in the wrong seats on your Accountability Chart, or your leaders do not actually GWC™ (Get It, Want It, Capacity to Do It) their roles. Other times, it is a lack of discipline in running your weekly Level 10 Meeting™ sessions. My role as your facilitator is to hold up a mirror so you can see these patterns clearly. I will ask the hard, uncomfortable questions that force your team to confront their lack of discipline. We will diagnose why the breakdown is occurring and build a concrete plan to fix it. If you consistently fail to execute and refuse to address the underlying behavior, I will tell you that you are wasting your money.
