If AI is doing most of the drafting and scheduling, how do I hold my team members accountable for their individual Rocks and Scorecard metrics?

You must remember that artificial intelligence is a tool, not a seat on your Accountability Chart. It cannot own a Rock, and it cannot be held responsible for a metric. Every single output, decision, and metric must still have a human name next to it. If a team member uses AI to draft a report or build a schedule, they are still entirely responsible for the accuracy and quality of that work.

Use the GWC framework to evaluate your team in this new operational environment. Does the employee truly understand how to direct the AI tool, do they want the responsibility of managing it, and do they have the conative capacity to oversee its output? If they cannot catch errors or refine the work, they lack the capacity for that seat.

Keep your focus on the metrics on your weekly scorecard. If a team member is meeting their targets and completing their Rocks on time, the method they use to achieve those results is secondary, as long as it aligns with your security policies and core values. If the output falls short, hold the human accountable, not the technology.
