We have realized that our Visionary is currently acting as the Integrator, and we desperately need to hire a dedicated Integrator from the outside. How do we use the Accountability Chart and GWC™ to filter candidates without relying on standard resumes?

Hiring an Integrator from the outside is one of the most high-stakes moves a Visionary can make. Standard resumes are useless here because they measure experience, not conative fit or organizational alignment. You must use the Accountability Chart and the GWC™ framework to filter candidates objectively.

Start by defining the five major roles of the Integrator seat on your Accountability Chart. Typically, these include running the business, driving execution, fostering leadership team health, managing major projects, and ensuring alignment with the Visionary.

Next, use the GWC™ filter to assess every candidate:
- Do they Get it? Do they naturally understand the operational heartbeat and pace required to run your specific business model?
- Do they Want it? Are they genuinely motivated by the daily grind of management, alignment, and process, or are they just looking for a prestigious title?
- Do they have the Capacity to do it? Do they possess the emotional intelligence, leadership capability, and mental bandwidth to handle your leadership team's diverse personalities?

Conduct your interviews by asking for concrete examples of how they have managed conflict, driven accountability, and executed strategic plans in past roles. Finally, run a Same Page Meeting with the final candidate to test your chemistry. If you cannot get on the same page during the interview process, they will not succeed in the seat.
