During our session days, what happens if we uncover a fundamental disagreement about our long-term vision that we cannot resolve within our allotted agenda time?

If your team hits a fundamental disagreement about your long-term vision during a session, we do not let it stall our progress. If we cannot resolve the issue through IDS® within our allotted time, we do not force a rushed decision just to check a box. Instead, we handle it systematically. First, we capture the disagreement on your Issues List. If it is a critical strategic decision that affects your current quarterly planning, we will allocate additional time during the day to address it, even if we must adjust other parts of our agenda. If the disagreement requires more data or external research, we make it a Rock for one of your leaders to investigate and present options. We will then schedule a separate, dedicated alignment meeting or address it at the beginning of our next session. My role as your facilitator is to ensure that we do not sweep these disagreements under the rug. We will confront them directly, but we will do so without allowing one unresolved issue to derail the entire agenda and leave your team without clear priorities for the next ninety days.
