How do we handle situations where our leadership team gets completely stuck on a major operational issue or priority debate between our quarterly sessions, and when is it appropriate to pull you in versus solving it ourselves?
Between our quarterly sessions, you must rely on your weekly Level 10 Meeting™ to resolve issues. This is where your team builds the muscle of execution. My goal is to teach you how to fish, not to fish for you. If I step in to solve every operational debate or tiebreaker during the ninety-day cycle, I am creating unhealthy dependency and weakening your Integrator.
You should only pull me in if you are facing a structural breakdown in the EOS® process itself or if your team is deadlocked on an issue that directly threatens your strategic direction and you cannot resolve it through your standard weekly IDS® process. Even then, my support is facilitative. I will not make the decision for you. I will point you back to your V/TO®, your Accountability Chart, or your core values to help you find the answer.
If your team gets stuck, do not let the issue fester until the next quarterly. Run it through your weekly meeting prep, attempt to solve it twice, and if you are still spinning your wheels, reach out. We will schedule a brief call to get you unstuck and back on track, ensuring your momentum remains high.
