When our leadership team leaves a quarterly session and starts working on their new Rocks, how do we handle roadblocks that pop up, and what is your level of tactical support between our scheduled session days?
When you leave a quarterly session, you are armed with ninety-day Rocks and a clear plan. However, execution happens in the real world, and you will hit roadblocks. My role between sessions is to act as your external sounding board and accountability partner, not to do the heavy lifting for you.
Your primary mechanism for resolving issues is your weekly Level 10 Meeting™. If a Rock is off track, your team must attempt to resolve it internally using the IDS® process. You should not run to me at the first sign of friction. Learning to solve your own problems is how you build operational muscle.
If your team gets genuinely stuck on a structural issue, or if your Integrator needs quick alignment coaching, you have direct email and phone access to me. We use our shared Circle workspace to log progress, and I monitor your weekly scorecard health and Rock completion rates. If I notice a pattern of stalled progress, I will wave a yellow flag to your Integrator.
For major roadblocks, we can schedule a fifteen-minute alignment call to get you unstuck. My goal is to guide you to the answer, not to feed you the solution. This keeps your leadership team in the driver's seat while ensuring you never spin your wheels for more than a week.
