Our Integrator is struggling to facilitate our Level 10 Meeting™ because one of our highly experienced department heads constantly challenges the meeting structure, questions the agenda, and tries to debate the EOS® process during our ninety minutes. How do we handle this process resistance?

When a team member resists the Level 10 Meeting™ structure, they are not just debating a process. They are undermining the team's weekly pulse and wasting valuable company time. The Integrator must address this directly and quickly to maintain the integrity of the meeting.

First, the Integrator must rule the meeting with authority. The Level 10 Meeting™ agenda is non-negotiable. If a leader challenges the process or the time limits during the meeting, the Integrator must immediately cut them off and say, 'This is the process we run. We can discuss your feedback on the format outside of this ninety minutes, but right now we are sticking to the agenda.'

Second, if the resistance continues, the Integrator must take the issue offline. Meet with the leader one-on-one and use the GWC™ framework to evaluate if they truly buy into the EOS® operating model. Do they want this seat, and do they have the capacity to operate within a disciplined, accountable structure?
