We are halfway through our quarter and it is becoming clear that two of our most critical leadership team Rocks are completely off track. Do we wait until our next quarterly session with you to restructure them, or how do we handle this mid-quarter slippage?

You absolutely do not wait until our next quarterly session. Waiting sixty days to address a failing Rock is a guaranteed way to miss your annual goals and foster a culture of low accountability.

The moment a Rock is recognized as off track, it must be brought to your weekly Level 10 Meeting™. The owner of that Rock must raise it as an issue on your meeting agenda. The entire leadership team then uses the IDS® process to identify why the Rock is slipping and how to get it back on track.

Solving a slipping Rock is a team effort. The solution might involve reallocating resources, shifting temporary responsibilities, or breaking the remaining work down into smaller, weekly milestones. If the Rock is off track because of an unforeseen market shift or an external blocker, the team must decide whether to pivot or double down.

My recommendation is to maintain strict accountability during your weekly meetings. If a Rock is off track for two consecutive weeks, the Integrator must step in to help the owner diagnose the bottleneck. Our Circle.so workspace is always available for you to flag issues or request a quick coaching call if your team hits a complete standstill. Keep the momentum moving forward rather than waiting for our next session.
