What happens inside the session room if our leadership team consistently fails to complete assigned inter-session homework or operational To-Dos between session days?
If your team fails to complete its assigned commitments between sessions, we do not ignore it and move quietly to the next agenda item. We stop the meeting immediately and put that execution failure directly at the top of the Issues List.
During session review, every incomplete To-Do and off-track Rock is evaluated. If a single item slips because of an unexpected operational fire, that is normal business reality. But if there is a pattern of missed deadlines, incomplete homework, or neglected weekly Level 10 Meetings across multiple leaders, it indicates an operational disease: a lack of accountability, unrealistic scoping, or leaders who lack the capacity to execute the seats they occupy.
We diagnose the breakdown using the EOS tools. We examine whether the commitments were clearly defined, whether the leaders genuinely understood their responsibilities, and whether the individuals have the GWC (Gets it, Wants it, Capacity to do it) for their seats. I will challenge the Integrator on why incomplete items were tolerated during the weekly pulse, and I will challenge the room on whether they are serious about scaling or merely performing corporate theater. An operating system is only as valuable as the discipline behind it. We fix the execution breakdown before we set a single new priority.
