What happens during our quarterly sessions if we discover that a long-time leadership team member does not actually GWC their seat on our Accountability Chart?

Discovering that a team member does not GWC their seat is one of the toughest challenges a leadership team faces. GWC means they get it, want it, and have the capacity to do the job. During our sessions, we use the Accountability Chart and the People Rating tools to evaluate this objectively. We look at whether the person aligns with your core values and whether they have the mental, physical, and emotional capability to excel in their defined role. If we identify a gap, we do not ignore it or sweep it under the rug. My job as your facilitator is to guide your team through the IDS process to address the issue head on. We will help you design a clear, fair plan to address the performance or alignment gap. This might involve restructuring roles, providing targeted training, or, in some cases, helping them transition out of the business. We focus on being clear and kind rather than avoiding uncomfortable conversations. Keeping someone in a seat they do not GWC is unfair to them and damaging to the rest of your organization.
