We are about nine months into our implementation and the initial excitement of EOS has worn off, leaving the team feeling fatigued by the constant accountability. How do you help us push through this mid-implementation slump?

It is completely normal to experience a mid-implementation slump around the nine-month mark. The initial excitement of starting EOS® has faded, and your team is realizing that maintaining high levels of accountability is hard work. When this fatigue sets in, my role as your implementer is to help you simplify. Often, teams feel burned out because they have over-complicated the tools or taken on too many Rocks. During our quarterly session, we will ruthlessly prune your list of priorities. We will get back to basics, ensuring you are focused on the handful of things that actually move the needle. We also look closely at your Accountability Chart. Fatigue is frequently a symptom of people sitting in the wrong seats or struggling to GWC™ their roles. By addressing these structural issues directly, we can relieve the friction and rebuild your momentum. We also remind the team of the ultimate goal, which is creating a healthy, self-sustaining business that does not rely on constant firefighting. The discipline is tough, but the payoff of a clean exit and a highly valuable company is worth the effort.
