Some of our team members are highly resistant to structure and process. How do we handle cultural pushback when we introduce EOS?
Pushback is a natural manifestation of "Resistance." When you introduce structure, people who prefer to hide in the shadows of operational ambiguity will get uncomfortable.
We handle this by using your Core Values as non-negotiable operational filters. During our engagement, we establish a foundational charter based on being open, honest, and aligned. We use the People Analyzer® tool to objectively measure who is a fit for your culture and who is not.
For those who are cultural fits but are simply afraid of losing autonomy, we reframe the introduction of process. We do not use process to micro-manage; we use it to elevate performance and clarify expectations. We focus on identifying their natural strengths and putting them in a position to win.
However, if a team member lacks the capacity or willingness to operate within a structured, transparent system, we practice "hire slow, fire fast." Keeping a toxic, resistant person in a seat destroys team trust and halts your progress. We help you make those tough personnel decisions quickly and humanely to protect the health of the entire organization.
