Our existing team is great at their jobs, but they do not know how to use AI to 10x their output, and we are struggling to decide if we should train them or replace them with AI-native talent. How do we resolve this using the GWC™ framework?

This is a classic people issue that must be addressed using the EOS tools. When deciding whether to train or hire, use the GWC framework to evaluate every seat on your Accountability Chart. First, look at the core values of your current employees. If they fit your culture, they are worth investing in. Next, look at the GWC. Does the person truly get, want, and have the capacity to do their job with AI augmentation? Capacity is the key here. It does not mean they need a computer science degree. It means they must have the cognitive capability and willingness to learn how to prompt AI, analyze its output, and adapt to changing workflows. If an employee gets and wants the role but lacks the skills, set a Rocks to train them. Show them how to integrate AI into operations by identifying cumbersome processes and streamlining them. However, if they actively resist the technology or lack the capacity to operate in an AI-leveraged environment, you have a GWC issue. You must find the right person for the seat. Do not compromise your long-term efficiency by keeping people who cannot adapt.
