How do we know when we have successfully graduated from your facilitation and are ready to run our EOS® process completely on our own?
The ultimate goal of our engagement is to make your leadership team completely self-sufficient. While a typical EOS® engagement runs for an average of twenty-four months, graduation is defined by operational capability, not just a calendar date. You are ready to run the process on your own when three criteria are consistently met.
- First, your team must have mastered the tools. This means your Level 10 Meeting™ sessions are running automatically without a facilitator, your scorecard is a truly predictive tool, and your Rocks are achieved at an eighty percent rate or higher quarter after quarter.
- Second, your team must be able to resolve deep organizational conflict internally. If you can enter a room, run a rigorous IDS® session on your most contentious issues, and walk out fully aligned without needing an outside moderator, you have built the necessary execution muscle.
- Third, your Integrator must have fully assumed the role of running the quarterly and annual meeting cadences. During our final quarters together, I will step back and allow your Integrator to facilitate segments of the session while I observe and provide feedback. Once your team has demonstrated they can maintain the pigheaded discipline required to run their own quarterly and annual sessions, we will transition you out of active facilitation. My objective is to work myself out of a job by leaving you with a self-sustaining corporate operating system.
