We used an AI writing assistant to quickly document all of our core processes for our Process Component, but our team is still doing things their own way. How do we get our team to actually follow these AI-generated processes?

AI is excellent at drafting documents, but it cannot drive human adoption. If your team is ignoring your new processes, it is likely because they had zero hand in creating them. When processes are generated in a silo by an executive and an AI tool, they feel like top-down commands rather than operational reality.

To fix this, you must apply the EOS® Process Component framework. Take your AI-generated drafts to the actual people doing the work. Sit down with them and ask them if this represents how the work is actually done. Let them edit, refine, and simplify the steps. They need to own the process.

Once the processes are updated, you must train the team on them. Do not just email a document. Walk through the steps together and ensure they have the tools to execute them.

Finally, you must manage to the process. If a team member deviates from the agreed-upon steps, call them out immediately. If they refuse to follow the process, you have a GWC™ issue or a core values issue. AI can help you write the playbook, but your leadership team must have the courage to enforce the rules and hold people accountable to them.
