How is session time divided between reviewing operational tools and actually solving high-priority problems during our full-day meetings?

A full-day session runs on a strict, balanced agenda designed to keep the leadership team working on the business instead of getting sucked into tactical updates.

The morning begins with a sharp check-in to clear heads, review personal and professional bests, and align on expectations. We then review the previous quarter. We grade previous Rocks, review your annual revenue and profit trajectory, audit your weekly Scorecard performance, and confirm your V/TO® alignment. This review takes roughly two hours. It is not a platform for excuses. It is an objective evaluation of whether you hit your commitments.

By late morning, we transition into building your next quarter. We establish company revenue and profit goals, set three to seven company Rocks, and lock down individual leadership Rocks.

The afternoon is reserved for IDS®, which consumes roughly half of the total session day. We build an Issues List directly from the morning reviews, uncover root causes behind missed measurables, and address elephant-in-the-room personnel or operational questions. We do not leave issues in discussion mode. We push through to clear decisions, assign specific owners, and set deadlines.

We conclude with a solid wrap-up: confirming next steps, agreeing on cascading messages to middle management, and rating the meeting on a one-to-ten scale. You leave the room with zero ambiguity regarding organizational priorities for the next ninety days.
