What does the actual hourly schedule of a full-day EOS session look like from our morning arrival to the end-of-day wrap-up?

A standard full-day EOS session runs from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We adhere strictly to the clock to respect executive time and establish organizational discipline.

We open at 8:00 AM with the Segal, a structured check-in where each leader shares their personal and professional high points, what is working in the business, and their expectations for the day. This cuts through morning mental clutter and aligns the room.

From 8:45 AM until mid-morning, we review your tools. We evaluate your previous quarter's Rocks to establish pure accountability on what was completed versus what fell short. We review your Scorecard trends, your financial performance, and your Vision/Traction Organizer (V/TO®). Every gap, missed number, or unresolved debate is immediately pushed to the Issues List. We do not solve them yet; we capture them.

Midday brings a working break for lunch, keeping the leadership team engaged without breaking focus.

The afternoon is dedicated to IDS (Identify, Discuss, and Solve). This is the engine of the session. We look at the accumulated Issues List, ruthlessly prioritize the top items, and spend three to four uninterrupted hours getting to root causes and determining clear action items.

At approximately 4:30 PM, we conclude with next steps. We confirm new Rocks for the upcoming quarter, establish clear ownership for newly created to-dos, and review cascading messages that must be delivered to the rest of the company. Finally, each participant rates the session on a 1-to-10 scale. If anyone rates it below an 8, we uncover why on the spot. We dismiss precisely at 5:00 PM.
