As the founder, I want to implement EOS to clean up operations, but I am terrified of actually letting go of my control over daily decisions. How do we determine if my personal grip on the business means we are not actually ready to work with you?
You are not ready to work with me if you, as the founder, are unwilling to transition from being an operator to being a true owner. If you still need to control every micro-decision, your business will remain bottlenecked. An EOS® implementation requires a high level of vulnerability and a willingness to let your leadership team lead.
We can determine your readiness by assessing your willingness to structure an Accountability Chart based on what is best for the business, not what is comfortable for your ego. If you are unwilling to delegate and elevate, you will end up fighting the framework. We look for concrete signals of unreadiness, such as a refusal to let team members own their Rocks or a constant habit of overriding their decisions.
We also look at your team dynamics through cognitive profiling. If your conative wiring makes you a high Quickstart who thrives on constant chaos and you refuse to allow an Integrator to run the day-to-day operations, the engagement will fail. You must be prepared to give your leadership team the white space they need to execute. If you are not ready to step back and allow others to hold you accountable, you should wait to begin this process. It saves everyone time and money.
