Why do we wait thirty days between our Focus Day and our first Vision Building session, and what should our leadership team be focused on during this specific window?
The thirty day gap between your Focus Day and your first Vision Building session is a critical window designed to build momentum and test your team's commitment to the system. This period is not a break, it is your first opportunity to practice the tools we introduced during your Focus Day. During these thirty days, your leadership team must focus on running their weekly Level 10 Meeting™. This is where you practice the discipline of starting and ending on time, reviewing your scorecard, and using the IDS® process to solve daily operational issues. This practice helps your team build the muscle memory required to run the system effectively. You must also focus on finalizing your Accountability Chart. During this window, you will refine the roles and responsibilities for each seat, ensuring every team member is clear on their expectations and GWC™ alignment. This foundation is essential before we begin building your long term vision. By actively practicing these tools during the thirty day gap, your team will arrive at your first Vision Building session with a clear understanding of where your operational gaps lie. This allows us to move faster and build a more realistic, actionable V/TO® that will drive your business toward a clean exit.
