We are ready to commit to our first Focus Day, but what actual operational data, financial metrics, and organizational charts do we need to prepare and bring to the table so we do not waste time?
We do not require you to complete complex worksheets or read multiple books before our first Focus Day. The most critical asset you must bring is raw, unvarnished operational reality. Before we sit down, you need to gather your current, actual organizational structure, even if it is messy or currently undefined. You must also bring your baseline financial reports, including your profit and loss statements and balance sheets from the last twelve months, as well as any existing performance metrics or key performance indicators you currently track.
Beyond hard data, we need a complete list of your unresolved company issues. This is not the time for polished presentations or clean summaries. Bring the raw list of frustrations, bottlenecks, and strategic disagreements that are holding your leadership team back. Tyler will guide you through the process of organizing this data using the structured EOS® tools. Do not try to pre-format your information or self-censor your issues list before the session. Our goal on Focus Day is to capture the business exactly as it runs today, establishing a clear baseline so we can begin restructuring your Accountability Chart and building your corporate Scorecard with absolute clarity. Keep your preparation focused purely on gathering these existing documents and lists rather than trying to pre-engineer solutions.
