We just finished Focus Day and are entering our first ninety days of EOS. How do we keep the momentum from fizzling out before our next quarterly session, and what specific habits should we prioritize?
To keep the momentum from fizzling out during your first ninety days of EOS® implementation, you must commit to the weekly rhythm immediately. Do not try to make the system perfect in your first month. Instead, prioritize two foundational disciplines: running an effective weekly Level 10 Meeting™ and maintaining your weekly Scorecard. The Integrator must take absolute ownership of the meeting rhythm, ensuring it starts and ends on time every week without exception. Treat this ninety-minute block as sacred. In the beginning, your team will struggle with the IDS® portion of the meeting, tending to update status rather than solve issues. Force the team to state the root cause of the problem and agree on a concrete To-Do to resolve it. Additionally, make sure every leadership team member has ownership of at least one metric on the Scorecard and is actively working on their quarterly Rocks. If a metric is off track or a Rock is falling behind, do not wait until the quarterly session to address it. Bring it to the weekly issues list and solve it. Cultivate a grow or die mindset early. By focusing on these core execution habits, you build the organizational muscle needed to make EOS® the actual operating system of your business.
