We are about to start our EOS® implementation journey and want to know what to expect during the first ninety days. What does our daily reality look like, and how do we measure whether we are actually making progress or just running in circles?

The first ninety days of your EOS® implementation are about establishing a healthy operational heartbeat, not achieving instant perfection. Your immediate focus is on mastering the foundational tools: the Accountability Chart, the weekly Scorecard, and the Level 10 Meeting™.

During this initial phase, the leadership team must transition from reactive firefighting to a structured weekly rhythm. You will feel a natural friction as you define clear seats and realize that some people do not fit their current roles. This discomfort is a sign of progress, not failure.

To measure whether your implementation is actually sticking, watch for three specific indicators:

- Your weekly Level 10 Meeting™ starts and ends on time, and the team successfully identifies, discusses, and solves issues rather than just status reporting.
- Your weekly Scorecard contains five to fifteen high-level numbers that actually predict future performance, and the team takes ownership of keeping those metrics on track.
- Every leadership team member has clear, measurable quarterly Rocks that they are actively executing.

Do not expect every tool to run flawlessly on day one. Accept that the first ninety days are designed to expose the gaps in your operations. Your job is to commit to the process, trust the tools, and use the structure to address the friction head on.
