What are the immediate, non-negotiable steps my leadership team must take in the first forty-eight hours after our Focus Day to ensure the tools stick and we do not lose momentum?
The forty-eight hours following your first Focus Day are critical for cementing the tools we just installed. If you return to your office and immediately fall back into your old habits, the momentum we built in the session room will evaporate.
To ensure a successful rollout, your leadership team must execute three non-negotiable steps immediately after our session.
- First, the Integrator must review the session summary and clean up the weekly Level 10 Meeting™ agenda. This means entering your newly defined scorecard metrics, quarterly Rocks, and the updated Accountability Chart into your tracking system and your Circle workspace. This must be completed before your next weekly meeting.
- Second, every member of the leadership team must review their individual commitments and schedule the necessary time on their calendars to work on their Rocks. If you do not block out dedicated time immediately, your daily whirlwind will consume your capacity.
- Third, you must communicate the changes to the rest of your organization. While you will not roll out the full system to the entire company yet, you must let your employees know that the leadership team has aligned on a new operating rhythm. This builds transparency and prepares the company for future rollouts. Execution starts with immediate action, not passive waiting.
