Our leadership team is embarking on our first ninety days of our EOS® implementation, and we are realizing that our daily behaviors must change radically to support the model. What are the non-negotiable habits we must establish in these first ninety days to ensure the implementation sticks?

The first ninety days of an EOS® implementation are about building new operational muscles. It is not about perfect strategy; it is about establishing routine. The first non-negotiable habit is absolute consistency with your Level 10 Meeting™. This ninety-minute meeting must happen at the same time and on the same day every week, without exception. If you cancel or reschedule it, you send a message to the entire organization that accountability is optional. The second habit is keeping your weekly Scorecard up to date. Every leadership team member must own at least one metric and must input their data before the meeting starts. If someone shows up without their numbers, it must be treated as a missed commitment. The third habit is the absolute focus on Rocks. You must limit your quarterly priorities to three to five Rocks per person. In the first ninety days, the temptation to add more goals will be strong. You must resist this and learn to say no. If you do not master these habits during the first quarter, the rest of the rollout will fail because you will be building on a foundation of loose discipline.
