We are in our first ninety days of adopting EOS and find that our leadership team is struggling to connect what we did in our Focus Day with their weekly operational realities. How do we bridge this gap quickly?

The first ninety days of an EOS implementation are about building muscle memory. The tools introduced on Focus Day, specifically the Scorecard, the Accountability Chart, and the Level 10 Meeting, are designed to bring immediate discipline to your weekly operations.

If your team feels a disconnect, it is because they are viewing EOS as an extra project rather than the actual operating system of the business. The bridge between Focus Day and daily reality is your weekly Level 10 Meeting. This is where your leadership team must actively use the Accountability Chart to resolve friction.

If a ball is dropped, do not look for a person to blame. Instead, open your Accountability Chart and ask which seat owns that responsibility. If the seat is not defined or the person in it does not GWC the seat, that is your issue.

Use your weekly Scorecard to measure what matters right now. Do not wait for a perfect set of metrics. Start tracking your five to fifteen key leading indicators immediately. The discipline of looking at these numbers every single week is what forces your team to connect high-level focus with daily execution. Keep using the tools consistently and the alignment will follow.
