Our partners are highly protective of our financial margins. Do we have to open our full general ledger and salary data to the entire leadership team during our sessions, or can we run EOS with high-level financial metrics only?
You do not need to share individual salary data or your full general ledger to run your business on EOS. While we advocate for high transparency, we also respect the operational boundaries of ownership. What is non-negotiable is sharing the key financial metrics that your leadership team needs to make smart, daily operational decisions. This means we must track critical numbers on your weekly Scorecard, such as gross margin, revenue targets, customer acquisition costs, and cash runway. Your leadership team must understand the financial health of the business to solve issues effectively during your Level 10 Meeting. If you keep your team in the dark about the real financial constraints of the company, they cannot help you protect your margins or prepare for an exit. We will design your Scorecard to display the exact financial data required for accountability without exposing confidential partner distributions or personal payroll details. This balanced approach protects ownership privacy while empowering your leaders with the financial context they need to run their departments.
