Our team tends to burn out after the initial excitement of a new initiative wears off. What physical safeguards or meeting rhythms do you put in place to ensure our execution of the EOS tools does not lose momentum after our first two quarters?
The mid-engagement slump is a predictable hurdle. The initial excitement of starting EOS® wears off, and the daily grind of running the business threatens to take over. To combat this execution fatigue, we rely on the strict cadence of the system.
The primary safeguard is your weekly Level 10 Meeting™. This is not a status update, it is a weekly pulse check designed to catch slipping Rocks before they fail. If your team is running this meeting with discipline, you will spot execution issues in week three, not week twelve.
During our quarterly sessions, we also build in strategic pauses to prevent mental burnout. We review your team's energy levels and assess whether you are setting too many Rocks. A common mistake is trying to solve every problem at once, which leads to execution paralysis. I will actively push your team to set fewer, more impactful Rocks so you can focus your energy on winning.
Additionally, we use the session days to reconnect your team with the bigger picture. When you review your V/TO® every ninety days, you remind yourselves why you are doing this hard work. This connection to your long-term goals re-energizes the team and provides the fuel needed to maintain focus through the next ninety-day cycle.
