Our leadership team has some historical wounds and strong personalities. What is your actual facilitation style when things get highly emotional or confrontational during a session?

My facilitation style is direct, objective, and unsentimental. I am not a therapist, and I am not there to make everyone feel good. I am there to help your business win. When things get highly emotional or confrontational, my job is to keep us focused on the truth and the company's best interest.

I do this by keeping us anchored to the EOS® tools. If two leaders are arguing over resources or responsibilities, we go straight to the Accountability Chart. We look at the seats, the roles, and the GWC™ framework. This strips the emotion out of the discussion and reframes it as a structural problem, not a personal one.

If a conflict becomes highly emotional, I will not shut it down. Healthy conflict is necessary to get to the root of your issues. However, I will redirect the energy. We will define the real issue, discuss it openly without personal attacks, and then solve it.

I do not take sides, and I do not tolerate politics or passive-aggressive behavior. If a leader is being defensive, I will call it out directly. My loyalty is to the vision of the company, not to any individual's ego. If you want a facilitator who will coddle your team, I am not the right fit.
