This friction is highly common and actually healthy when managed correctly. In the language of cognitive profiles, a Visionary is often a Macro Deductive thinker, looking at the big picture and wanting to make bold, disruptive leaps. Your Integrator is likely a Micro Inductive thinker, needing to understand the operational details and processes before committing to a plan. During our session days, my role is to create a safe space where both styles can thrive without driving each other crazy. We use the structured tools of the EOS® process to bridge this cognitive gap. When you propose a massive new idea, we do not let it derail the session. Instead, we capture it in the V/TO® or put it on the Issues List to be systematically addressed during the IDS® portion of our day. We also leverage your natural conative styles, such as your Kolbe index scores, to clarify who owns what. By recognizing that your Integrator is wired for detail and you are wired for quick action, we stop treating these differences as personality conflicts. Instead, we frame them as complementary strengths that are essential for scaling your business safely.
