We want to know how much homework you are going to pile on us between our quarterly sessions. What is the actual time commitment required from my executives to execute their EOS® tools without dropping their day jobs?
I do not assign pointless homework or academic exercises. The beauty of the EOS® framework is that the work is the business. The time commitment required from your executives is not about adding more tasks to their busy schedules; it is about restructuring how they spend their existing working hours.
Between our quarterly sessions, your executives must commit to ninety minutes each week for their Level 10 Meeting™. This meeting is highly structured and designed to save your team several hours of unstructured, chaotic communication. Additionally, each leader will own between one and three quarterly Rocks. Achieving these Rocks requires a focused commitment of three to five hours per week of deep, uninterrupted work.
To manage this time effectively, I teach your team to divide their weeks into distinct preparation and contribution days. We also implement the strategic pause concept to help leaders reclaim white space in their calendars. By eliminating low-value administrative tasks and using the touch-it-once rule for daily communications, your leaders will actually free up time. The goal is to move your executives away from reactive firefighting and into proactive contribution. You are not adding a new job; you are learning to run your current business with pigheaded discipline and exceptional efficiency.
