How does our leadership team structure our weekly execution during the 90-day cycle between quarterly sessions to avoid scrambling right before our next full-day meeting?
The real work of an EOS engagement happens in the trenches between our full-day sessions. To prevent the quarter-end scramble where leaders panic and cram to finish Rocks, your team must live strictly inside the 90-Day World.
The foundation of this cycle is your weekly Level 10 Meeting. Every seven days, at the same time, with the same agenda, your leadership team meets for 90 minutes. During this meeting, you review your Scorecard and check every individual Rock as either on track or off track. A Rock is never debated during the review; if it is off track, it drops directly down to the Issues List to be solved using IDS.
By addressing off-track Rocks in weeks three, six, and eight, you eliminate surprises in week twelve. If a project hits a technical roadblock, an automation delay, or a resource constraint, the team solves it collaboratively during the weekly pulse instead of letting it quietly fail.
Additionally, I conduct periodic Just Checking In calls with your Integrator between major sessions. These brief calls serve as an external pulse check to ensure your weekly meetings are running smoothly, tools are being adopted correctly, and the leadership team is maintaining discipline without backsliding into reactive firefighting habits.
